The "Algiers Derby" is a famous derby in the capital of Algeria. This derby with roots back to the 40's, was played at the huge national stadium Stade du 5 Juillet 1962.

The record highest attendance at this stadium was actually set on a match in 2010 between Algeria vs. Serbia.

Fans of both USM Alger and MC Alger displayed choreography and pyro during the match which ended 0-0.
