Big derby in Croatia!

Last Sunday Dinamo Zagreb boss Zdravko Mamić finally ended behind bars (due to tax fraud). Together with him his brother Zoran Mamić (Dinamo coach) and Croatian football federation director Damir Vrbanović (very close to Dinamo).

As you know, Bad Blue Boys are in war with Mamić for many years. Mamić used Dinamo just to fill his pockets and finally justice got him. But we must say, they are just in investigation prison for 30 days. After that trial starts and who know what will happen, but at least something started happening about criminals in Croatian football.

Euphoria swept all football fans in Croatia after Mamić was arrested, specially Dinamo Zagreb fans. Derby Dinamo-Hajduk last years was very boring. BBB were banned or boycotted, Torcida last match in Zagreb also boycotted, and match before they were not allowed to enter (Hajduk refused to play that match). Today, after many years, stadium was again almost completly full. BBB back on North and Torcida in big number on South (more than 3500).

This match will showed that football is played for fans, not for criminals from VIP sectors.

INCIDENT BEFORE THE MATCH

When first BBB entered North tribune there was already a small group of ex BBB (now called "Mamić mercenaries" because they support Mamić. Can you believe that!?) and BBB attacked them. Police stopped fight quickly and isolated that small Mamić group in corner of tribune.

Hajduk:

Special train with Hajduk fans departure from Split in the morning. Train travels 8 hours to Zagreb! But most of the fans came with cars and vans.
