Brazil: Big derby in São Paulo!

This derby-weekend started terrible in Brazil when 8 supporters of Corinthians were shot and killed in their club house. The attack was probably not related to football, but it definitely sent a shock among the football supporters in Brazil.

Authorities decided to let the Paulista A1 Semi-final to be played as normal Sunday. Of course all the Corinthians groups payed attention to the victims of this murder and to the group Pavilhão Nove which the killed lads belong to.

Attendance: 38 457 spectators.

Corinthians: Group Gaviões da Fiel with banner to the victims:

Camisa 12 and Estopim da Fiel stood together with P9 and raised a black stripe across their sector to honor the lads from Pavilhão Nove.

In the first 8 minutes of the match members of all groups sat down silent to honor their dead brothers. Right after everybody sang together on one famous Pavilhão Nove song.
